− | Translation: Crono and company jump off the Pterans. Ride to the enemy castle.
| + | |
− | Differences: Crono and company originally stormed the entrance of the Tyran Castle, as landing here would have placed them very close to Azala.

− | Translation: The prison break was a success! ...even as we think that, the Dragon Tank blocks our way.
| + | |
− | Differences: The screen is off-center, exposing this as a mockup, and the Dragon Tank appears on the other end of the bridge. The Chancellor is not to be found.

− | | + | |
− | Translation: A faroff and high-up battle. Defeat the robots on the wings!
| + | |
− | Differences: The wing of the Blackbird is very small, and no door exists to reach it. Additionally, there are Gatos fighting the party.
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | ===Robo===

| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Translation: A battle with robots in a ruined world. Crono's katana scatters sparks.
| + | |
− | Differences: The "sparks" here seem as if they're in excess, and it goes without saying that Crono never battled Robo in either of the Labs.

Prior to Chrono Trigger's release, several cards depicting character artwork and scenes from supposed beta versions were released; these seem to offer further insight into stages of the game's development prior to the Prerelease -- however, it was commonplace for developers to simply produce mockups of scenes and submit them. A mockup is not an actual ingame screenshot, though it may use graphics from the game; it is a fabricated work. The various differences apparent in the prism scene cards suggest that they are mockups, though some may be actual screenshots. These screenshots appear on the back of each character and scene card. Additionally, the holographic inlays on the front sides don't scan well.
