Its origin is unknown, but it was associated with the prophecy that the great hero of Guardia would appear wearing it. Originally in Cyrus's possession, it was later carried by Frog, who, mired in depression and despair, dropped it in the Porre Cafe. Tata's wearing the medal after finding it in this locale provoked his recognition as the savior of Guardia against the Mystics, leading to his visiting King Guardia XXI and attempting to retrieve the Masamune. The Medal was later recovered by Frog, and is last seen in his possession in 600 A.D.
