The Zodiac is a series of twelve signs named for thirty-degree sections of the elliptical band that encompasses the paths of all the major planets, the moon, and the Sun. Astrologers refer to the Zodiac to produce horoscopes, and birthdays are assigned certain signs on the Zodiac.
