Chrono Trigger[edit]

Truce is the closest city to Guardia Castle, and the main city of the Kingdom of Guardia. Established long before 600 A.D., it was protected by the knights of Guardia (and supplied them from its population), and was the main city of the world. It was never ravaged by the touch of the Mystic War, though the fight came close to its doorstep when it reached Zenan Bridge. After the war ended, Leene Square was built in close proximity to Truce. Crono and Lucca were born in the city several years before the Millennial Fair occurred. The city was depicted in the V-Jump preview video showing an alpha version of the game; it appears radically different. According to EGM #7's Chrono Trigger Prerelease Coverage of Chrono Trigger, Truce was originally named "Stoal".

Chrono Cross[edit]

Unfortunately, Truce was razed and burned to the ground during the Fall of Guardia. The city probably was rebuilt after this, as the Kingdom of Guardia rebounded from the fall. Nonetheless, several citizens were slaughtered.
