"The Flame's Arbiter"

• The Gurus prep Schala for the first Object Connection Test. Demeria interrupts Schala and the Gurus on their way to the Mammon Machine chamber and Demeria is arrested for direct interference with the nation's interests.

• Schala undergoes her first Frozen Flame trial dungeon. The consciousness residing within the Object taunts her with images of Zeal's violent past and the future slaying of Earthbound in an attempt to break her will, but she says she will defy that future, amusing the consciousness. The consciousness proposes a game whereby it will release its energy in exchange for further amusement, but the Gurus end the experiment at this point to run diagnostics on Schala.

• The next day Guru Bekkler and Derben both go missing. Derben becomes a person of interest in Dalton's investigation, but visual records of Derben in Shikar exonerate him. When Derben finds out that Demeria's been imprisoned he joins Schala to visit her. Derben asks to be left alone with Demeria after awhile, but when Schala is on her way out, she happens across a video feed showing Derben approaching Po'hjol's cell.
